Seeing how useful these basic tools, many webmasters still relies in using these simple techniques- considered simple yet, are effective. Although there are so many new techniques that are available on the web, yet some of these were considered bad seo styles, and search engines don’t like it. practices. For later on, if you let yourself do it just for the sake of your client’s site, without making a second thought about it, not only that your site will be punished but this goes to your reputation as well.

Going now, unto what I consider as the advance type of techniques, although this has been used before I know, Forum posting for me is an advanced style. Doing this kind of technique, needs a lot of consideration in order to effectively done it. Here are the keys to that- make sure that you are dealing with the members as if you truly understand what they mean, that’s to avoid Spam, if possible make more posts to be considered as a member, add some nice words with the links on your signature, but make sure not to make it look like you were advertising.

Another is the link wheel, the one which is so popular now, I haven’t tried it yet, but I have read lots of good news, in using that new technique. Aside from backlinks, it’s also good for your site’s popularity. And seeing the overview of how it looked like, I can really say that it’s effective. But then again, if ever you’ll be making one for your site, make sure to use articles that are unique and has quality content, in short make your own article. For it to be more effective for search engines want it to be unique.

Link Exchange, is another advance technique for me. Lots of seo experts are really into this, but to warn and inform you, moderation and at the same time considerations should be practiced. Why I say, moderation? It’s because having so many links is not good for your site, later on search engines will crawl your site and it can be considered as a “Link Farm”. Why I say considerations? It’s because there are cases that the site you are linking to isn’t a good site- those are bad sites ( it caters porn sites, those that are banned sites, and sometimes worst, uses bad seo ). Better be alarmed by this, for you not to worry later on and be able to serve the very purpose of your blog and that is to serve your readers with informative news.
