Good or Bad SEO

Have you heard of any situation stating that they have made a website, which has lots of pages in it, and then buying or creating another domain posting an article containing links to it’s first website’s pages? The question that follows to this is, was it considered spamming to Search Engines, considering that the sole purpose for this is for his first website? Putting an article on that new domain and be referred as one of your inbound link strategy. Links from sub domains are counted by Google as they all came from a separate site. And thus, that gives you a backlink.

Considering that, the links there will have no power and no change when it comes to your rankings and I guess search engines don’t like that idea. Redirecting any relevant domain will surely help you as long as you have used the appropriate SEO for that. And if you choose to pursue with that idea of which you have created this sub domain for the sole purpose of putting links you may do it but be sure to give it a good title and a unique description pointing those links with the relevant page to your original site, then that will surely work. However, better make all pages on the subdomain be indexed first, having this on same IP is not a factor, but the links posted in your new domain should be updated on a regular basis.

But frankly guys, this isn’t a good practice, for it’s better to keep good contents on just one site. And that’s where the idea “Content is King” goes.
